George Washington had a brilliant tactic to surprise and recover the town of Trenton on December 25th, 1776, during a brutal snowstorm which the Hessians said “no one will be out in this weather to conquer” and became one of the best war generals at the time period. The Battle of Brandy-wine, Pennsylvania, then led to the Battle of German town then following that was the Battle of Trenton and freedom of the United states of America 12 years later.
